About Me:
Training in the field of general surgery was started in Alexandria University main hospital since about 39 years. Further practice and training were attained in Ahmadi Hospital (Kuwait Oil Company), Armed Forces Hospital in Kuwait, and in Countess of Chester Hospital (UK). Bariatric surgery experience started in 1998 in Kuwait and it was parallel in the last two decades to the development in that field. Surgical practice continued in the German Hospital in Alexandria (Egypt), Al Qassimi Hospital (Sharjah) as head of surgical department, and The Neuro Spinal Hospital in Dubai, The practice of surgery in UAE as a consultant surgeon since 2010 allowed more familiarity with patients in the region and with local regulations, protocols and guidelines.
